The Symbionica project has reached its 18th month, trespassing the middle of its foreseen duration. All the activities related to the product design and manufacturing technologies for bionic and smart prosthetic applications have been completed in the framework of WP2, together with the Symbionica Co-engineering Platform which will translate the user features in processable manufacturing files for players of the supply chain involved in the accomplishment of the Symbionica manufacturing technologies. The currently ongoing activities are related to the process design and to the design of the laser sources and 3D scanner, together with all the definition of the vision system and software requirements.
