These services include technical assistance, information, and a relationship which goes beyond the common sales partnership between company and practitioner.
Can you describe the application and the characteristics of your demonstrator use case?
The demonstrator use case is a somatic/intersomatic spine endo prosthesys. It is a monolithic device that, will fit vertebral endplate dimensions, intervertebral space height and lordosis/khyposys level. The presence of nested sensor will provide information about the osteointegration of the cage.
Which are the benefits that the Symbionica machine can offer to the prosthesis market?
The Symbionica machine offers the possibility to produce prostheses with features that are tailored to the patients’ anatomies. This has a very positive impact on the system biomechanics and the life of the prosthesis. Also, this machine will allow to reduce the stock of implants and the waste of materials during the production.
Which are the most relevant aspects of the Symbionica machine for your business?
The device geometrical features will be tailored to the patients’ anatomies. The monolithic © Sintea Plustek device will then fit the vertebral endplate dimensions, the intervertebral space height and lordosis/khyposys level. The morphology of the vertebral endplate could be potentially evaluated in order to customize the endcaps of the cage for an optimal interface.
