Stuttgart, Germany | November 8-10, 2016

VISION as the world’s leading machine vision trade fair presents an incomparable range of products and services: from sensors to processors, from cables to cameras, from software to illumination systems. VISION is where OEMs, mechanical engineering companies and system houses learn about the latest innovations from the world of machine vision components, and where they initiate their investments. At the same time it is where end users searching for specific machine vision solutions meet numerous system integrators.

Complete machine vision systems and very specific applications for many different industries are exhibited – from mechanical engineering and the automotive industry through to the medical technology industry and many, many more industries besides. This is the only place in the world where the complete spectrum of the machine vision  technology is staged in this way. FRAMOS was participating in the fair from November 8 to 10, 2016 where over 90 top presentations were held and embedded vision, hyperspectral imaging and 3D machine vision in particular attracted almost 10,000 visitors from 58 countries. Flyers about the BOREALIS machine and the SYMBIONICA project have been handed out to a very interested audience.

According to Thomas Walter, Divisional Director Industrial Solutions,VISION was the absolute “must attend” event with international appeal reflected by the number of product launches, as well as the numerous company anniversaries celebrated there in 2016. Discussions of high quality and the increased interest in machine vision in particular confirmed that machine vision technology is no longer confined to a factory environment but is now an integral part of our everyday lives. Machine vision is the technology that makes robotics and automation possible.
